About Us

History

Christopher Palmer-Smith founded Pets & Wildlife Ltd in 2010 as employee number one. Since then the business has developed over 15 channels to market and is part of a £100 million global organisation.

Having started the company up from scratch, Christopher managed to build up an impressive £2 million a year business in just 12 months.

After graduating from Lincoln University in 1999, he began his career as a Buyer and by 2001 was working in a senior role at one of the country’s largest supermarkets.

Over the next few years Christopher gained valuable experience of the business world and held Head of Buyer and managerial positions at numerous household names before taking the step to use his entrepreneurial skills and set up his own business.

Bird-Food.co.uk was launched in 2011 with the aim of bringing the best quality bird products and an all encompassing bird community together under one roof.

It is designed to be a place for everyone to find exactly what bird products they are looking for whilst sharing moments and experiences with the rest of the community about their feathered friends.

Free Delivery and Return Policy
Bird-Food.co.uk offers a free delivery service on any purchase that comes to £75 or more! The delivery charge on all orders under that price is just £4.99.

Please note that these charges relate to the majority of purchases, but there may be exceptions, such as for heavier items or more expensive items where P&P charges apply.

Bird-Food.co.uk is committed to selling quality products which we hope you will fully satisfied with. However, we understand that there may be occasions when you need to exchange or return something you have bought.

If for any reason you are not entirely happy with any item then you can send it back to us to be refunded. Please note that the return of the items does have to be within 28 days (unless otherwise specified) from the date of receipt.

You also have the right to cancel your order by fax, email or letter within seven working days of receipt. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please follow our simple Returns Procedure as detailed below. If you require assistance you may contact our Customer Services Department.

We also recommend that you keep your Order Acknowledgement, or take a note of the order number in your receipt, as you might need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.
